Prince Albert Casino is only for adults aged 19+, and anyone younger may not register, deposit or play. Below we describe how age is checked, the steps we take when we find a minor and how families can help stop young people from reaching gambling websites.
A. 19+ only
The minimum age of 19 applies to every player and to every part of the site, including the Lobby, Live Casino, Promotions, Jackpots and the VIP Club. Under our Terms & Conditions, you may not register on behalf of another person, nor allow anyone else to access your account.
B. If a minor is found
Accounts we find belonging to a person under 19 are closed at once, and the identity details behind them are barred from future registration. Every wager is voided, no winnings are paid, and deposits are refunded, where possible, via the method used to make them.
An adult who knowingly let a child use their account may have that account closed too.
C. How we check age
Your date of birth, supplied at sign-up, goes through KYC verification ahead of any deposit. Trusted data sources are used for an initial electronic check; where the result is unclear, we request government photo identification. Geolocation checks confirm the location of every session. Accounts registered with a false date of birth are closed.
D. Shared devices and protecting minors
Several people in one household often share the same computer, tablet or phone. To keep children away from your account:
- Sign out each time you stop playing, and disable password saving in your browser
- Give yourself your own user profile on the device and secure its screen lock with a PIN, a fingerprint or facial recognition
- Keep bank cards, e-wallet logins and Interac banking details away from children
- Avoid playing while children are watching
E. Parental controls and filtering tools
Most operating systems, home routers and mobile carriers offer settings that block gambling content. Dedicated filtering software can block casino sites, restrict app downloads by age classification and send activity summaries to a parent.
